Vice Minister of Education Ren Youqun met with Joseph Kahama, Secretary General of the Tanzania-China Friendship Promotion Association (TCFPA) in Beijing on November 24.

Ren said China attaches great importance to educational cooperation with Tanzania and encouraged the TCFPA to continue serving as a bridge between the two sides. He called for universities and institutions on both sides to deepen collaboration in vocational training, higher education, and Chinese language instruction to further strengthen the foundation of the China–Tanzania friendship.

In response, Kahama affirmed the TCFPA’s commitment to supporting educational cooperation, pledging to promote deeper, substantive engagement through people-to-people ties.
