The 2025 International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application (Northeast China sub-venue) was held in Harbin on September 5. Vice Minister of Education Wu Yan attended and addressed the conference.
Wu noted that the Chinese government attaches great importance to cooperation between academia and industry. He said that the conference has become a significant platform for facilitating international technological cooperation and practical application of research findings over the past seven years. He also said that the conference has witnessed the launch of collaborative laboratories and the release of remarkable scientific and technological outcomes, among other achievements. He added that China is striving to overcome commercialization challenges by promoting the establishment of regional academia–industry technology transfer centers.
Wu said that China is willing to join hands with other countries to build more cooperation platforms to facilitate technological innovation and commercialization, jointly address common challenges, and advocate “Tech for Social Good.”
