The MOE has launched the 2025 Spring Employment Facilitation Initiative, a nationwide campaign aimed at expanding job opportunities for university graduates. Running from March to April, this initiative aims to secure stable careers for new graduates through job creation, expedited recruitment, and expert career support.

The initiative will increase job openings and accelerate recruitment. Higher education institutions (HEIs) and local governments will host large-scale recruitment events, both online and in-person, including university-business job fairs and industry-specific gatherings. Additionally, public institutions will participate in university job fairs to boost employer-student engagement.

To further tailor education to the evolving demands of the modern workplace, HEIs will support corporate outreach programs, strengthening partnerships with local industries and emerging sectors. The initiative also prioritizes the expansion of government-backed job programs, including an increase in public service employment and teaching positions in rural areas, as well as expanded local community development programs.

Furthermore, graduates are encouraged to explore a variety of alternative career opportunities, such as military enlistment, positions in small and medium-sized enterprises, roles in innovation-driven industries, and participation in rural revitalization projects.

Beyond job creation, the initiative emphasizes career guidance and support for students in need. HEIs will organize career competitions, entrepreneurship workshops, and vocational training to help students develop in-demand skills. Students from low-income families will receive personalized career counseling and job placement assistance.

To protect job seekers, the MOE will work with regulatory authorities to combat recruitment scams. Universities will also use AI to match students with jobs, establish career training centers, and partner with businesses to create 1,000 new micro-credentials and 1,000 AI-related vocational training courses.
