Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng led a delegation to Tajikistan on July 5.
As witnessed by the leaders of the two countries, Huai and Tajikistan’s Minister of Education and Science Rahim Saidzod exchanged two cooperation documents—an agreement on mutual recognition of academic degrees between China and Tajikistan and a memorandum on academic cooperation between Beijing Language and Culture University and Tajik International University of Foreign Languages (previously known as Tajik State Institute of Languages).
Huai’s visit is aimed at implementing the consensus reached by the leaders of China and Tajikistan and enhancing educational cooperation between the two countries. During his visit, Huai held meetings with Saidzod. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and achieved a series of consensuses on promoting collaboration in higher education, vocational education, linguistic and international studies, digital education, and other areas. They both expressed hope to work together on creating more educational cooperation brands and better serving the development of the Belt and Road Initiative as well as the Sino-Tajik community with a shared future.
