Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng met with President Xu Yangsheng of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and his delegation on March 14.
Huai applauded the institution’s work in interdisciplinary development, advancements in academic research, international partnerships, and community service. He expressed his expectation that the university continue to advance the education-science-talent interface in order to help contribute to China’s modernization drive.
Xu thanked the minister for his support of the university’s operation. He vowed to continue enhancing the quality of education, talent cultivation, and scientific and technological research, including through further cooperation with other higher education institutions in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macao, in order to better serve the development of China’s Greater Bay Area.
