The National Teaching Achievement Award for Basic Education is the highest award in the field of basic education in China. In 2014 and 2018 respectively, a number of awards were presented, including 4 grand prizes, 98 first prizes and 767 second prizes. The awarded projects embody China’s latest achievements in basic education.

The Ministry of Education has now launched an initiative to expand the scope of these projects. Prize-winners will be invited to produce videos and materials of their projects for dissemination purposes, in order to share the experience and outcomes of these success stories to schools across the country, and to facilitate the exchange of ideas and promote the practical application of research results.
