On August 29, Chinese Education Minister Chen Baosheng and J. Prospero De Vera III, Chair of the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines, exchanged at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing the Memorandum of Understanding on Higher Education Cooperation between the Ministry of Education of China and the Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines (2019-2024), in the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Philippine President Rodrigo R. Duterte.
