On July 11, Vice Minister of Education Tian Xuejun and Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Marina Borovskaya jointly hosted the 19th Meeting of the Sino-Russian Education Cooperation Subcommittee in Moscow. Both sides participated in discussion on how to expand the scope of people-to-people exchange, encourage cooperation between higher education institutions and university alliances, promote mutual learning of Mandarin Chinese and Russian, and reinforce educational cooperation under multilateral frameworks. Discussion included preparatory work for the upcoming 20th Meeting.
