On May 16, Vice Minister of Education Tian Xuejun met with senior government officials from three countries on the occasion of the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence & Education: Yaw Osei Adutwum, Deputy Education Minister of Ghana; B. Bayarsaikhan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia; Olli-Pekka Heinonen, Director General for Finnish National Agency for Education.

Tian spoke highly of the achievements made through educational exchanges with each of these countries, and gave a brief introduction to China’s “Education Modernization 2035” plan and its efforts to further open up education. The parties exchanges views on international students, cooperation on language teaching and exchange among higher education institutions.
