On March 13, Tian Xuejun, Vice Minister of Education and Chairperson of the National Commission of the People’s Republic of China for UNESCO met with Firmin Edouard Matoko, Assistant Director-General for Priority Africa and External Relations, UNESCO. The two sides exchanged views on how to implement the consensus reached at two-way high-level negotiations, jointly implement the UNESCO’s operational strategy for Priority Africa, and boost cooperation within the framework of the Belt & Road Initiative and in UNESCO’s young professions program.
