On March 11, Minister of Education Chen Baosheng met with Chancellor Chan Meng Kam and President Zhang Shuguang of City University of Macau (CUM).

Chen fully acknowledged CUM’s development and achievements over the last four decades, and urged CUM to participate in the implementation of the Greater Bay Area development plan and the "Belt & Road" initiative. Reiterating the MOE’s continuous support for CUM, he expressed his expectation for the university to become a leading higher education institution in the region and the world.
