President Xi visits Imperial College London

Chinese President Xi Jinping and First Lady Peng Liyuan, accompanied by the Duke of York Prince Andrew, the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne, visited the Imperial College London, Britain's number one research partner with China, on Wednesday.

They welcomed by Professor Alice Gast, President of the college.

During the visit, President Xi took his time to visit two world-leading research centers: the Data Science Institute led by Professor Guo Yike, and the Hamlyn Centre for Medical Robotics led by Professor Yang Guangzhong.
