To gain firsthand insight into entrenched problems faced by China’s educational system, staff from the MOE Public Information Office visited the Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA) on May 28. During the visit, officials were able to observe progress in Party building work at the university, as part of a communications campaign entitled “Education Endeavor 1+1”. The BUA Party Committee launched an initiative to facilitate interaction between its 100 Party subcommittees and 100 village Party subcommittees, to bolster Party building with a view to providing stronger support to local communities and industries.
