The Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the MOE jointly unveiled the 2021 list of “Most Beautiful Teachers”, an honor given to outstanding teachers to commend their dedication and achievements, and made their exemplary deeds known to the public as China observed its 37th Teachers’ Day on September 10.

The laureates comprise ten individuals: Xiao Xiangrong, Wan Buyan, Lin Zhanxi, Wan Rongchun, Lai Xunzhong, Chen Mingqing, Zhang Shasha, Ma Jianguo, Tsering Lhamo, and Wang Junfeng, as well as a team engaged in a program supporting education in the western part of Yunnan Province. These are role models from across the entire education sector, from higher education, vocational education and basic education to preschool education, art education and special education, who have been working on the frontline of urban and rural schools and whose high moral qualities and outstanding achievements in teaching have set a strong example for others.
