Hao Yue, born in March 1958, is a professor at the School of Microelectronics, Xidian University and an academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. 

Over the past four decades, he has cultivated over 370 master’s and doctoral degree holders. He has developed an innovative training model that aims to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical and innovation skills in the field of integrated circuits. The model has been applied in many universities across the country, facilitating the cultivation of top-notch talents in key technical focus areas.

He donated a total of 2 million yuan to set a student grant, helping many needy students to finish their studies. He also led his team in making breakthroughs in the third-generation semiconductor materials. He has won the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, First Prize of National Teaching Achievement Award, and the Highest Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Province.
