Li Hongxia, born in October 1972, is a teacher and Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the Shijiazhuang Foreign Language School, Hebei Province. 

Over the past 27 years since she became a teacher, she has always been exploring innovative ways of teaching moral and political values. Through consistent practice and in-depth thinking, she has developed an effective moral and political education model that focuses on student self-motivated learning supported by research and social work projects, exchanges and evaluation, covering preschool, primary, lower and upper secondary levels.

Meanwhile, she is also dedicated to poverty alleviation through education. She organized an excellent teacher team which has offered a total of 177,500 class hours of training to rural teachers in remote mountainous regions, benefiting over 50,000 households in 6 counties. With a keen interest in supporting rural education, she also donated 10,000 yuan that she was given as a winner of Ming Yuan Education Award to rural schools. Her outstanding achievements have won her a number of prizes and honorary titles, such as the “May 1 Labor Medal”, “March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter”, and “Advanced Moral and Political Education Worker in Hebei Province”.
