This year, enrollment in higher vocational education institutions will grow by two million, which will help unleash the full potential of vocational education, produce more skilled professionals to meet the needs of social and economic development, and promote employment stability. Higher vocational education institutions should be better geared to the needs of enterprises, and stay tuned to the latest changes in industry trends, technology and human resources. Higher vocational education institutions should set proper admissions standards, organize selection for admissions in an orderly manner, and ensure quality education. Efforts should be made to improve the schools’ facilities and performance to meet needs emerging in line with higher enrollment.
