WANG Chengwen, Han ethnicity, was born in March 1966. He has a postgraduate education and holds the degree of Doctor of Management, Communist Party of China (CPC) member.

He is currently member of the 20^th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and member of the CPC Leading Group and Chief Commissioner of Discipline Inspection of the Ministry of Education.
