Duties and responsibilities:

i. Regulating tutoring institutions for kindergarten children, and primary and secondary school students; 

ii. Guiding Party building at tutoring institutions;

iii. Formulating regulatory policies for tutoring organizations;

iv. Developing and overseeing the implementation of standards for the content and times of both online and offline tutoring, the qualifications of tutors, as well as charges;

v. Organizing and implementing comprehensive management of after-school training, and guiding the enforcement of regulations on tutoring organizations;

vi. Regulating competitions and contests for primary and secondary school students; and

vii. Dealing with major problems related to after-school tutoring, as they arise.
