On October 24-26, Vice Minister of Education Tian Xuejun attended the fourth meeting of China-Israel Joint Committee on Innovation Cooperation (JCIC) in Israel. During this event, Tian met with Yaffa Zilbershats, Chair of the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the Israel Council for Higher Education, and visited the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he met with its president Asher Cohen. He went to the university’s Confucius Institute and talked with volunteer Chinese teachers.
