On August 2, Vice-minister of Education Zhu Zhiwen met with Prof. Atef Mohamed Mohamed Abou El-Nour, Vice President of the Suez Canal University.

Zhu commended the achievements of the Suez Canal University and expressed his hope that it would continue to develop its Confucius Institute and expand its exchanges with Chinese higher education institutions to generate fresh benefits, leveraging the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum and the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

Prof. Atef said that the Suez Canal University was happy to deepen cooperation with its Chinese counterparts, adding momentum to people-to-people exchanges between China and Egypt.
