On July 13, Vice-minister of Education Tian Xuejun met with H.E. Penisimani 'Epenisa Fifita, Minister of Education and Training for the Kingdom of Tonga. The two sides exchanged ideas on communication and cooperation in the field of education between China and Tonga, and both agreed to fully implement the China-Tonga Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Education while enhancing existing cooperation in student exchange, language collaboration, volunteer teaching programs and more.
