Recently, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly announced that from July 1st 2018, higher education degree certificate authentication fees of all kinds will be cancelled. After the implementation of this new policy, students who have registered in the higher education institutions student information system or other related databases can inquire about and have their degree certificates verified online.

The Ministry of Education has already finished feeding related academic degree data into the national data sharing platform. In the next step, it will promote online digital query and authentication service to deliver greater convenience to the society.
