China wants more two-way student exchanges with Poland

Chen Baosheng, China’s minister of education, met with Jarosław Gowin, minister of science and higher education of Poland, on Oct 11 in Beijing and proposed to increase two-way student exchanges.

Chen introduced the condition of Chinese educational reform and its development and made six proposals for Sino-Polish education cooperation, prioritizing an increase in two-way student exchanges at the university level.

Chen also proposed to take an active part in multilateral communication and use it to promote bilateral cooperation. Other suggestions were put forward as well, such as increasing high-level contacts and implementing the consensus reached by the two countries’ leaders under the framework of “Belt and Road Initiative”.

Gowin indicated that Poland is willing to work with China to deepen personal exchanges and promote Poland-China education exchange and cooperation.
