Hao Ping, China’s vice-minister of education, welcomed Bence Rétvári, parliamentary state secretary of the Ministry of Human Capacities of Hungary to Beijing and expressed a desire to enhance university exchange cooperation with Hungary on Oct 11.

Retvari was invited to Beijing to attend a China-EU Education Ministerial Conference and the Fourth Education Policy Dialogue with Central and Eastern Europe. Hao Ping praised Sino-Hungarian education cooperation and exchanges.

Retvari said that Hungary is willing to increase communication with China and implement outcomes of the conference to further promote Sino-Hungarian education exchanges.

The two parties also signed a new round of agreements for education cooperation including a memorandum on mutual interest in Hungary-China bilingual schools.
