International students read Chinese classics

On April 23, the World Book Day, a group of international students studying at Jiangsu University, from Ghana, Pakistan and other countries, visited the Lijia Dashan Primary School in Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province and spent time with local pupils reading Chinese classics. The students and pupils clearly enjoyed the time spent together, reading out loud passages from several books advocating traditional Chinese education, such as Di Zi Gui (Disciple Rules), Lun Yu (Confucian Analects) and Da Xue (The Great Learning), and copying texts from San Zi Jing (Three Character Classic) in Chinese calligraphy.
